Private tutoring rates are dependent on several factors, including how many students (clients) the tutor has, competitive rates in the area, and the expertise/education of the tutor.
As I am building a client base, I am starting with lower-range fees that I feel the average parent or caregiver can afford. Please feel free to reach out about affordability and possible payment plans. Serious inquiries only please.
- Introductory sessions are 30-minute to 1-hour sessions. They are FREE OF CHARGE and will consist of in-person introductions between the tutor, the prospective student and parent/caregiver. We will meet at a public space, such as a public library, to determine the quality of the student/tutor fit. Personality and disciplinary fit is required for tutoring sessions.
- Introductory criteria includes: student’s age, grade level, current reading, writing and spelling skills, strengths and weaknesses, etc.
- Once the introductory fit has been established, we will work together to create a tutoring and payment schedule.
